What's new in my life now..??

Quite a number.. Lemme see..

New friends.. New experience.. New status.. New life..??

New friends.. I've been hanging out more often with my archery peeps.. Guolong, shwajuan, shimin, rayson, james and maybe derong more often.. I'm serious.. i'm beginning to spend more time with them than with 3MC, the gang or even my new classmates.. Maybe it's because archery is one of the four main things that my life now revolves around.. And that since i spend a whoe LOT of time during archery.. i've gotten much close to them.. Maybe wat shimin said is right.. No life become got life ever since i joined archery.. yeah.. she's right.. i even know how to play taiti now.. LoL..!! I even went with them to catch my first ever movie watched in a cinema.. it was yesterday.. We watched tokyo drift at tiong bahru plaza.. wat an experience.. Teriyaki Boyz Rock..!!!

I dunno.. i think now my life is more settled down.. maybe it is really stupid to go with ur own feelings.. i never should have followed my feelings.. i never should have.. look what it's gotten me into now.. Unnecessary diversity of emotions and ruining someone else's life.. Maybe i really should have listen to what someone told me a while back.. about the position of the heart and mind.. about why these entities are positioned in such a way.. i was selfish to go with my feelings.. Now i totally regret what i've done.. I'm really sorry.. forgive me.. well.. i guess.. sometimes doing the right thing ain't doing the right thing really comes into play here.. Damn.. how could i be so selfish..?! Oh well.. wat has been done, has been done.. I just have to learn from this lesson and gain a clearer state of mind from this experience..

Archery AGM 2006...

My first archery AGM (like duhh).. It was fun...!! LoL..!! As the respective committee members gave their last speech and also the progress of their department.. I sat there.. one whole row to myself in the middle of the lecture hall.. between the seniors who were sitting at the bottom rows.. And the year 1s who were sitting at the back rows.. So i was like kinda the in-between person.. LoL..!! I really pity BK.. He's the VP and he had to stand in for Jack who's speech was two and half pages long..!! LoL..!! And tsyr harn's speech was thje shortest.. It was like.. "ermm.. i dunno wat to say.. i got nothing to say.. that's all"... LoL..!! ANd when it was Guolong's turn to give his speech as the team captain, he spelled telok blangah as telok banglah.. LoL..!! I saw the mistake and shouted it.. And everyone was like blur for a moment before they saw the mistake and then the whole lecture theatre burst out laughing..!! LoL..!! It was great..!! So after the speeches were done.. The handing down ceremony..

That's the new committee.. Off to photo taking then we were done.. Played taiti at the clubhouse till about 4 then we were off to tiong bahru to watch tokyo drift.. My first movie experience in a cinema.. It was great.. After that.. the gurls went shopping.. Boy did they went shopping.. LoL..!! Shimin and ShwaJuan most certainly cannot see a shop.. LoL..!! Must go inside and buy.. LoL..!!

Archery..

Now it's the current sport that i'm dedicating my life to.. Soccer's now out of my life.. Don't wanna talk about why i gave it up..

Archery.. Now i've got to save money to buy myself an archer's set.. lemme see.. I need to get a bow (like duh..).. that means a riser, limbs, sight, arrowrest etc etc.. But given the exampls of Guolong's, Yazid's and BK's bow sets.. It's easier buying a whole set then a part of the bow bit-by-bit.. Lemme see.. A bow set huh.. That'll cost me about $1000 at the most.. at the most.. Right now i only have a measly $250.. that means $750, patience and a lot of empty stomachs to go.. LoL..!!
There's a lot of bow brands for me to chose from.. So many options.. There's Hoyt, there's Samick, There's KAP and there's Win&Win.. These are the brands that the senior archers use.. so got more trust in these brands..

Here's a list of the more important stuff..
Bow -- A Gold-Medalist (Hoyt) or Matrix (Hoyt).. But yazid is selling his samick agulla plus limbs for $450.. but i don't like the colour.. guess i'll stick to Hoyt's
Limbs -- KAP limbs.. They're the cheapest.. Maybe the Challenger series limbs (craft or carbon)...
Arrows -- Easton Plats.. and if i have the money.. Maybe a bunch of carbon arrows..dunno wat type yet.. But all (plats and carbons) with spin veins and G-Nocks..

then the accessories (armguard, stabilisers, plungers, arrowrest, sight, quiver, finger tab).. All by Cartel/Doosung.. Cheap stuff.. LoL..!! No money lerr.. archery is an expensive sport.. LoL..!! But i'm worried about Cartel products.. all very chia pa lan.. later become like sam who's stabiliser broke and the latest victim, BK, yesterday when his Vbar broke too.. Heartpain sia, just watching it drop.. LoL..!!

archery yesterday was fun.. Had more laughs then shooting.. LoL..!! Dunno why everyone was in the mood for laughter.. then we played badminton too.. LoL..!! one month since my nose accident.. LoL..!!

I really miss u my gurl.. ='(.. *sigh*.. how it hurts so much..

Exams are over.. Don't wanna talk about it.. *maniacal smile*.. LoL..!!


The holidays are upon me.. Have to say.. I'm sure am grateful that i have activities to do during this period.. Archery.. archery.. and more archery.. plus.. there's this archery chalet.. which obviously i'm going and unfortunately forced unconditionally by James to stay overnight.. LoL..!!


Archery today was rather "fun".. It's never really fun without you.. ='(.. Surprisingly regained my form in such a short period of time.. By guolong's words.. I finally found my perfect form and now have to concentrate on my release.. But how in the world am i suppose to get my release right when my bow is that damn noisy..!! I can't tell the difference between a dead release or a perfect release.. The sound is really that damn irritating and demoralising.. Even james and yazid has tried my bow out and gave up after a few shots when they found it too noisy.. Grr.. And i've been with this bow for the past 2 months..!! I just hate bow 20/3.. I just hate it.. Aaaaarrgghhh...!!!! Nonetheless.. I'm stuck with it until i get an assigned bow.. that is if i ever get an assigned bow.. But thru hardwork, faith and consistency.. i believe it'll pay off.. I will get an assigned bow.. Think positive.. I will get an assigned bow.. LoL..!!


Not many ppl came down for archery today.. so had the darn bow all to myself and "stole" 3 more arrows.. So there i was shooting.. shooting.. and shooting.. Everyone was high.. LoL..!! I think it's the de-stress from the recent exams.. LoL..!! Everyone sure had something funny to say.. Everyone was doing something silly.. Eg Bernice was throwing her sunscreen bottle around.. throwing it into the air and into ppl's faces.. LoL..!! ANd i was "molesting" Felicia (guolong's bow), Chinyan's bow and Shwa juan's bow.. LoL..!! Wanted to feel the texture of the different types of bows mahh.. Felicia is plastic-coated metal bow, Chinyan's a pure metal bow and Shwajuan's a plastic bow.. Boy..!! was guolong frustrated with me.. LoL..!! Everytime i asked him to help me spot my mistakes.. I end up having NONE at all.. LoL..!! Then he'll be like "Wat's the problem now, Mr Hyena..??" after every single shot that i took with nice groupings.. LoL..!! Guess i perform much better with him around... LoL...!!


Now i'm sunburnt.. All tanned-red.. And high on archery.. Tmr i'm going for training again.. LoL..!! I know it's a sunday but what the heck.. I've got nothing to do and holiday time to burn.. I may be jaded.. but i'm ready for more..

I came across these videos accidentally.. Dunno how.. maybe a light of revelation of God.. But sure know why.. Seeing me in confusion.. I have seeked help from Him.. And not only has He answered my prayers.. He gave me a further,deeper insight into this religion that i love so much.. I think this is my life.. To walk the path of life and to be questioned with thoughts of this final era.. Then in this state of confusion.. I gain somewhat "enlightenment".. "Enlightenment" of knowing in much greater detail what my religion has to offer for me.. And what role i play in this final act.. I play a role as an ambassador... An ambassador of lailahaillallah muhammadarrosulallah.. An ambassador of soft power.. the soft power of Islam.. The soft persuasive power to let people want to do something.. To let people know.. to share with people the wonders, the wisdom, the hikmat of this great religion that i have embraced since birth.. Gosh.. The amount of wisdom that He has given me.. Alhamdullilah.. And at a very young age at that.. Masyaallah.. the power of wisdom and the power of God.. Oh well.. I'll just leave these religious conferences of wisdom to talk in person.. There's so much to say.. Yet so little time and opportunities..

Exams.. sian ahh.. Why my papers all evening papers wan..?? sialla.. 16th, 21th and the 25th.. evenly spread i should say.. good.. leaves me time for some revision.. Sian ahh.. my worry now is PEEE and Maths.. PEEE, coz there's suddenly a heap of chapters to study.. somemore DBE and DASE not the same as the other courses in my school.. Learn more extra things.. walao.. the school director really expects A LOT from us DBE and DASE students.. DE study different.. learn extra things.. Project 1 also different.. we design and build ourselves.. Not like the other courses.. walao.. got one less chapter to study.. somemore their project 1 is like just giving them a step-by-step instruction manual and just build it on their own.. walao.. Not fair sia.. Never is.. *sigh*..

Tired.. but i cannot be..

Yesterday was a looonnggg day.. I went out with my young uncle and aunt.. Initially the idea was to go Jp.. but dunno how ahh.. suddenly we ended up going to orchard instead.. And i wasn't even dressed roperly.. in my infamous faded trousers, a plain jersey and sandals.. Hahahhahaa.. Went to the heeren.. walked around.. window shopping.. Wanted to buy something.. but couldn't at all pullout my wallet to reach for those crisp notes.. Very obsessive of me.. hahahahaa.. Walked around.. Talk this.. talk that.. Heart to heart talks.. My uncle is only 10 years my senior and my aunt 9.. So the mentality is the same.. Seriously.. u can easily mistaken my uncle for my brother.. went over to PS.. but didn't find the thing i wanted as well.. But got really some creative ideas of some hand made crafts..

So since it was already about 7pm.. we decided to watch the fireworks.. Jam.. 1 hour in the jam.. frustrating sia.. finally found a parking spot.. then off we were to find a suitable place in the crowd.. we got as close as possible to the waterfront.. And the place is that jam packed with people.. kinda reminds me of Mecca during Haji period.. found a nice place though.. And the fireworks began.. not that nice i have to say.. but i was laughing throughout coz there's this extended family nearby.. and the little kids were screaming at every boom and bam of the fireworks.. hahhahahahahahahaha... couldn't help it.. really funny sia..

came back home at about 11pm but my parents, along with my extended family, who watched the fireworks from another part went over to geylang to eat.. they came back at around 2am.. wahhh.. sian sia.. early today i have to accompany my mum and grandmama along with my aunts to darussalam for this talk about the female biological reproductive system.. strangely i was not sleepy and managed to pay attention to the talk.. maybe it reminded me of biology lessons back in gess.. From 9am to 12pm was the talk.. damn long sia.. lucky the last doctor let us do some "stretching".. But the talk is rather interesting though.. Was hoping to catch a glimpse of you.. Bad sadly i didn't.. i miss u so much.. Or in ur words.. I miss u many many.. ='(..

went to Jp to buy some stuff.. *sigh*.. so tired.. yet i cannot not be tired.. have to study.. exams next week..

I have to admit it.. I miss my brothers of 3MC.. Split apart by different education preferences.. Damn.. How we sat at the same table during recess and gobble our food.. How we always used to drink ice lemon tea together during recess( i started the trend ).. How we used to play soccer together.. How we used to talk cock.. How we used to fight (w each other, LoL..).. How we used to outsmart the Brothers.. *sigh*.. Gosh.. i really miss 'em..

One's still in GESS.. One in Nyp.. Another in Pjc.. One in Np.. And the other 2 in SP.. When's the last time we ever met..?? Say.. lemme think.. I can't remember.. Wayy back.. May 7th..?? That's 3 months ago.. tsk tsk.. *shakes head*.. From our occasional communication sessions.. Dzaki's been meeting up with sam.. Normal.. dzak always go back to band.. to meet his "immortal".. Then on the rare occasion.. Ian would go back for band too.. Very rare occasion.. then desmond.. I dunno lahh this dude.. He's always talking to me on MSN though.. But meet up with ian..?? most probably.. i think.. then i'll always be with ahmad.. Of coz lerr.. He just stays a few blocks away from me.. Go JP.. slack ard.. Look at shoes.. Ahmad's always with his shoes.. Hehe.. worse than a gurl.. LoL..!! Joking joking.. then occasionally i'll meet dzaki at SP.. occasionally.. The only gessians whom i meet often are sathesh and.. and.. *ehem*.. sathesh study's on the same floor as i do and.. and.. *ehem* is my *ehem*.. hehehehehe... cheeky sia.. dzaki's in a different school then me.. But we occasionally meet at fc3 on wednesdays.. i think.. when he comes over for chicken talk..

Damn.. we gotta meet up often and catch up with our lives.. Ohh how we used to walk from somerset to forum then to PS then to raffles place then to suntec.. We used to love walking aimlessly around each time we go out.. Hahaha.. rather weird.. But we love the walks none the less.. Always filled with laughter..

New bag.. Just a simple crumpler bag that cost me $179..!! Damn.. when i saw the price tag.. i instantaneuosly perspired.. I was like.. "Wat the fuck..?!?!".. Hole in my pocket as well as a hole in my heart.. LoL..!! Damn ex sia.. but good quality.. so i don't mind splurging money on quality products.. Now i only have 91 bucks left.. *heart pain*.. How am i suppose to buy a GM..?? Aaaarrgghh..!!

New pair of jeans.. So.. got new look lahh.. my first pair of jeans in say.. 2 years..?? LoL..!! I always wear trousers larhh... Somehow.. EVERYBODY noticed the change.. They went like "Hafiz..!! U look different..!!".. *rolls eyes*.. I'm wearing jeans ppl.. I usually wear trousers.. They said that i look better now.. My gurl said i look nicer now too.. *blush*.. When i asked how i look before.. They went like.."Err.. before u look like this.. u look like.. err.. u look like Hafiz..!!".. -.-"..

New phone.. it's a Nokia 6233.. really looks like a Nokia 6030 from the front.. It's a 3G phone.. My mum got a new contract and bought this phone.. But.. She didn't want it so she gave it to me.. Have to say.. It's really nice.. The keypad is so soft and smooth.. And it comes with a 2 megapixel camera..!! Wow..!! So no need for me to save money and buy that digicam that i wanted so much.. Now can concentrate on saving for that GM.. But i really miss my 6230.. *sniffle*.. So many memories with that phone.. My whole life was organised into it.. Parting with it really hurts.. but we have to move on.. *sobsob*.. LoL..!! So much drama.. Hahahaha.. Guess.. i''m really obsessed with my belongings that when i get something new.. Parting with the old one really hurts.. LoL..!!

Nothing touches my heart like the feeling of a baby's fingers wrapping tightly around my fingers...

No matter how late i wanna be.. I will still be early.. i left house at 830.. and reach SP at 855.. -.-".. So much for wanting to be late.. Since i was early.. went to the clubhouse lor.. pick up the bows.. then went to the field.. the usual of setting up the board.. Instead of 18 metres... we shot 20 metres.. difference of 2m only.. not that much..


My form shiok ahh.. really glad to have re-gained it.. thx again guolong..!! But the bloody bow that i use ahh.. the sound like dead release like that.. very very irritating.. Shot 20m till lunch.. lunch.. 20m until about 3++ like dat.. then proceeded to 30m board.. guolong taught me a breathing technique.. which is really that troublesome.. but he says it'll help ultimately.. so now.. i've got to combine my form with the new breathing technique.. hard i should say.. my arrows went everywhere.. LoL..!! Then the year 2s started a mini competition and invited me as well.. it was to shoot the 70m board with their assigned bows.. So there was a mix of poundage bows from 40lbs. (james) to the lowest, 20 lbs(me, LoL..!!).. Then tsyr harn taught me how to aim coz the sight cannot reach 50m lest even 70m..!! So he say aim for the 5th floor of T16.. and guess wat.. all my arrows zipped over the board..!! None was short of the board... Some of the seniors managed to get the board.. with rayson and ashley hitting the blue.. Red was the target and sam would buy the winner a drink.. But all the arrows zipped..!! LoL..!! It was like watching lord of the rings: the two towers.. with a rain of arrows flying up into the air then falling down to earth.. When we went to collect the arrows.. Timothy lost one.. and we spent the remaining half an hour or so searching for it.. I knew we couldn't find it.. LoL..!! Then BK say he also lost an arrow but by the 30m board.. so with no hope of searching for timo's arrow.. i went to the 30m board section.. and guess wat.. I found the timo's arrow there..!! LoL..!! SO now.. Timo owes me lunch.. LoL..!!


Had dinner at clementi together with guolong, shwa juan, christine and derong.. Not bad ehh the food there... my first taste of red meat in 4 months.. The mutton so lean and so nice.. Mmmm... on the way home.. talked to guolong about his Felicia.. that's the name of his bow.. A Gold Medallist (GM).. the bow model is gold medallist.. not the archer behind it.. LoL..!! joking joking..!! I want a GM of my own..!! It costs a whopping $1000 at the most..!! Walao..!! So much money.. Must start saving now.. walked home with shwa juan.. and.. wen i wanted to tap my ezlink.. as usual.. my coins came flying out.. Not once but twice.. And shwa juan say my reaction very fast.. LoL..!! Coz i was chasing the rolling coin and then stepped on it to pick it up.. Walked home with her.. sialla her house so near Boon lay.. It was funny how we said goodbye coz she walked under the blocks and i walked on the carpark road.. So every gap between each block we said " Eh Hi..!! Byebye..!! Again..!!".. LoL..!!


waaahh sian ahh.. so much studying to do.. ton the whole night ahh.. fuck care watever i have tmr lahh..

School today was rather hectic.. We had to do lots of stuff.. Project 1 and revision.. it really was frustrating on my part.. I had to multi-multi-task.. I did so much tasks at one time.. I even freaked my friends out over the speed, concentration and the face i put on when i did my work.. They all went like "Eh Hafiz.. Awak alright tak..?? Stress jer muker..".. "Eh.. Hafiz.. u alright or not..?? U face look different lehh.." Sounds like the direct translation right..?? But these sentences were spoken by different ppl.. Guess i was really to engrossed with my work.. I had to do revision, do circuitmaker on my laptop, apply and test the practical circuit on the circuit board, design the circuit plan and juggle my classmates' questions as well as try to pay attention to my lecturer.. Just imagine.. At one shot i did all these.. one moment i was on the laptop.. the next, scrutinising the chip plans then inserting and configuring the wires on the circuit board.. and then drawing on my design paper, constantly making amendments to the devised plan, running over to FC3 to get the plans photocopied.. then making changes to the photocopied pieces too.. then working solutions and punching numbers into my calculator.. and then occasionally looking up to listen to my lecturer.. Wow.. So much tasks that i did in one moment.. Really was working under pressure.. Finally got it all done..!! Unexpectedly though.. Didn't think i could complete all those things in 4 hours.. Somehow though.. i wasn't angry at all.. and that's wat surprised me the most.. Oh well.. Welcome to Poly life and the life of an Engineer..


After that was all done.. calmed myself down doing the friday prayers.. I had to get back to school for my fletching session.. And guess wat.. it wasn't fletching session at all.. LoL..!! We were all playing dota at the clubhouse.. Hahahahaha... We played until about 545 THEN proceeded to fletching.. we fletched the entire training arrow sets.. All the arrows that needed fletching and nocking were done.. It was fast.. and it was fun.. LoL..!! Then we all went to FC4 for dinner.. guolong, shwajuan and chinyan went off first leaving me and james behind to wait for derong, kailin and christine who were still at the clubhouse watching that tom hanks movie terminal.. Then it was 645 When we waited for them.. me and james talk cock lahh.. Talk this.. talk that.. And at 745 then did the trio came down.. Gosh..!! They took that long..!! Oh well.. And i think kailin and christine like pepper so much that i could smell the pepper from 3 seats away..!! And the thing is that the can't even smell it..!! LoL..!! Guess it's my heightened sense of smell.. Went home ard 8pm together with james.. Leaving the trio behind to finish their over-pepper-ed food...


Tmr got archery training.. Dunno whether vanga coming down or not.. So sad.. =(.. Tmr u not coming down.. Anyways.. Study hard and study smart kay.. All the best.. Jia you..!!

Actually.. I don't have school today.. But firdaus had asked me to assist him with his laptop self certification.. furthermore.. I have a fletching session with guolong at 3pm at the club.. So to burn time.. I agreed to help firdaus..

Never have i feel so bored and so flattened-ass-ed before.. Just imagine.. from 10am to 3pm of pure ass-numbness.. 5 hours mann..!! That's wat i went thru.. Oh well.. Managed to get most of the self cert done..

So i went to the clubhouse.. Guolong was alrdy there.. And so was the QM dept, james and jack... And as usual.. playing dota.. And so i sat there watching them play.. as i went for my sifu to finish his game.. When he was done.. It was fletching time.. But i think.. and definitely all of us think that guolong played wayy too much dota.. coz after that he was damn blur.. he was so blur to a certain extent that he forgot was he was suppose to do when he had all the fletching equipment ready.. so james push guolong aside for him to regain his senses and james taught me how to fletch.. it's kinda cool mann.. he demonstrated to me once.. then guolong (after regaining his senses) supervised me as i fletched two fletches on my bloody one-fletched asigned arrow.. my first fletch was off-set by only one bar and the other was perfectly inline.. Great job hafiz..!! Then jack went to check my fletching.. but wheni told him my offset fletch he say "aiya.. heck care that one lahh.. training arrow only mahh".. LoL..!! And all of us went laughing.. Welll done hafiz..!! Fletching is kinda cool and fun..

U know something.. jack has an obsession with sticking things together.. he even stuck 7 shuttlecock tubes together to form like a bunch of dynamite sticks..!! LoL..!! Let's put school out of the qn now.. After school.. I had to represent archery in the land raft competition in the SP national day celebrations.. What did we have to do..?? We had to hop 60metres in gunny sacks holding up our respective rafts.. LoL..!! It was damn funny.. Me and james were at the front.. Derong and fanhao were at the back.. We were supposed to follow a counting.. But we realised that when we followed it.. we were the last to start..!! LoL..!! So derong was like "Aiya.. fuck care lahh.. just jump..".. ANd so we jumped.. Have to say.. we were the most consistent ones.. no tripping and falling down.. Except for fanhao who was on the brink of tripping over.. coz me and james were hopping too fast for derong and fanhao to catch up.. LoL..!! Can see the difference.. Me and james were like energiser bunnies.. Hopping small strides but at a very fast pace.. whereas derong and fanhao were jumping large strides to catch up with us.. LoL..!! We were officially 4th.. but since our design was nice.. we got moved up to 3rd.. Cool..!! hee..!!

The kinderland kids were really cute... They were dancing to Dragostadintei and a medley of other songs.. Cute sia..!!

Take photos.. Took our prizes.. An adidas handphone pouch which costs about $16..?? Just agak-agak coz the price tags were torn and we had to decipher from wat was left.. LoL..!! Sop we dismantled the board.. taing only the bow, arrow and the SP logo.. Keeping the big target board..

At club house.. we all talk cock.. Talk this.. talk that.. Then at one point.. James mention that archery club like zoo.. got quite a number of animals.. Here's the list of them..
