1 week to enlistment..

Kinda excited.. yeah i said it right.. EGGSS-cited..

anyways.. fasting month over.. Celebrated Hari Raya.. got to finally shoot without feeling so damn tired and thirsty..
Greenpacket collection was on a high in terms of value which is rather surprising coz isn't it suppose to be an economic downturn or something like that? I got lots of packets with 10buck notes inside..

WooHoo..!!! Money..!! Money..!! Money..!! Must be Funny..!! In a rich man's world..

Managed to break 150bucks on the first day.. aint that cool..? Not anymore.. the money's gone.. LOL.. kinda a big spender.. spent most it on food.. yeah food.. after fasting month must savour all those delicacies that have been missing for a month..

well.. on the contrary to my previous post..
i have found something to do besides all those activities that i listed down in my previous post.
Little did I know that this activity i have newly founds isn't that new at all. In fact i've been dealing with it all my life ever since i was little.

Cards -- yea that's the new activity and it has to do with cards. From DragonBall Z to Pokemon to WWE Raw Deal to Magic: The Gathering.. Just the list of card collection i've ever had since i was young..

From the 20cent a card turn-the-knob-card-dispensing-machine in DragonBall Z..

To starter deck with tokens in Pokemon.

Buying and selling cards to complete a superstar's arsenal of superstar-specific cards.

And Magic: The Gathering. One of the best card games i've ever played. It's so great a card game that you can actually learn from it. To the point that a deck can be the personification of the owner. And that every single card has it's own worth no matter how common or uncommon or rare it is. But unfortunately i cannot continue with this wonderful game. Few ppl play it nowadays and those that are, are into buying cards to make their decks strong. Which beats the whole idea of creating a deck out of watever u have and being able to be good with it. And also beats the idea of having booster packs if they're just gonna buy the cards anyway..

anyways.. the "new" card game that i'm into now is *drumroll*

Normal Playing Cards..

u know.. like poker cards? thirteen ranks of each of the four French suits, diamonds (♦), clubs (♣), hearts (♥) and spades (♠)..? Those Normal Playing Cards lah..

well.. i have taken up the art of card manipulating, card tricks and card flourishes.

doing so have opened me up to a world of playing cards that i've never seen before and i am interested in collecting many different variations in playing cards.

Variations in the playing cards can be from the colours of the card, the design and colour of the back, even the design of the Face cards, and most importantly (to me) the texture.
Texture can range from the common plastic coated finish, to air cushion, to linoid finish, to UV500 air flow..

sounds cool huh?
most certainly is..
