What a waste..
What a real damn waste..
If only the doctor i went to consult was much better at dispensing medication, i could have been playing in the mini RD challenge. In the end. i spent 2 days (thurs, fri) still having watery stool and abdominal pain.
So i went to the doctor's again on saturday morning, this time the doctor that i wanted to consult, that i should have consulted, was on duty. the main doctor, u know the one that runs the clinic. He's my family doctor.
On wednesday night, the doctor on duty was one of those 'fill-in' docs, u know those that fills in for the main doc when the main doc takes off.
So he (main doc) just gave me two packets of pills instead of the whopping 6 packets that the previous doc gave.
And guess wat. Those 2 packets of tablets worked wonders. After i downed them, i could feel the effects of it working. And now, i'm fully recovered from diarrhoea..
But it's not this diarrhoea thing that's the main highlight here.. it's the time wasted by it..
I could have enjoyed the best of two worlds..
Attend the RD mini challenge AND go for the archery camp..
it's really disappointing to miss out on the RD mini-challenge coz it's the closest i can get to a paintball competition before i enlist. Already Leg 3 of SPNS is being held on the 18th of October which i would still be in NS first-2-weeks-confinement. I don't see it being postponed to a later date coz of the management behind it concrete on the event date.. this is really just sad.. and the forum is alive with everyone posting about wat fun they had at the minichallenge..
I bet when i get back to work on wednesday, the ppl at RD would still be talking about it..
oh well.. it's done and over.. though it is kinda sad..
and the back aches bring back memories of a sweet past.
