BTO-ed..!! WOOT WOOT..!!

[EDIT] For the benefit of most my readers.. BTO stands for Basic Tournament Orientation. It's a short 'course' i have to take in order to become a tournament paintball player.. thanks shwajuan for the reminder of edit [END OF EDIT XD]

wasn't as difficult as i thought it would be.. finally got to meet calgar otherwise better known as small ben.. briefed on the various tournament rules and ref hand signs.. then off to practical test..

since there were 7 ppl that turned up for the BTO.. it was 3 v 4. and to think i would be in the 4.. i got drafted into the 3man team.. why..? coz i have 'experience'.. LOL.. like c'mon man.. my teammates like have their own mask and their own paintball gear.. and there's this other guy who also has his own gear and is in the seeker family.. why not the have-their-own-gear vs the don't-have-their-own-gear..? LOL.. i felt so out of place man.. lucky ben junior was kind enough to lend me his dye I3s.. so at least i would look the part..

and MAN..!! the DYE I3s are simply amazing...!! the first thing that came to my notice was the frame foam.. it was smooth & soft yet it was strong and sturdy.. waaayy much better then the house Java masks that i use.. the foam just sits onto my face so the mask just fits nicely onto my face.. the next thing that came to my notice was the lens.. ben junior had just changed to a smoke thermal lens.. and damn.. the vision provided by the mask.. u can't even see the sides of the frame.. it has a great degree of peripheral vision..

so the match started in field 3 which is better coz last i saw the BTO was held in field 1.. my teammates were damian and jit, short for jitwei.. damian went left.. jit went right.. so i went centre..
10seconds..!! and game on.. run to a bunker hide.. damian went into the snake.. got 2 guys.. jit got one.. i got one guy who got shot while he was on the run and he ran out of bounds too.. so we won the first match..

2nd match was 'interesting'.. there was some paint on my marker, it was suspicious coz i knew no one got shot on the marker.. lol.. indeed it was suspicious.. the match ended in a draw coz i played on due to that paint on my marker was deemed as a hit.. and that's a one for one penalty..

and lol.. that broken paintball was there on purpose.. small ben said that in actual tournaments.. the marshals won't give a shit.. so he's teaching us to prevent such things from happening in actual tournaments..

so on 28th june 08.. i got BTO-ed..

after that.. damn.. i dunno wat got into faz and sham.. but we, together with kiko, challenged ben, heechai, jeramine and paul to a basketball match.. goddamn man.. lol.. wat brownies team.. shit
ahahaha
damn funny lah..
we got thrashed man.. LOL.. why of course.. fuck man they have tall ppl on their team.. ahahahah
it's damn fun..

oh well..
now that i'm BTO-ed.. i have to find a team.. sham invited me to join his team if i want to.. there's also team RD boys.. LOL.. but firstly i got to get the equipment..

sadly.. SPNS leg 3 has been cancelled.. the final leg would be on 18th october if i'm no mistaken..
sad.. just when i wanted to ask someone to come watch me play since it's held at pasir ris park and it's near her place..
