WWWWOOOOOO...!!!!
i just did a 10.5km run. That's a quarter of a marathon.
From Jurong West Park Connector to the traffic junction before Jurong East MRT station along Boon Lay Way.
That's 5.25km according to mapmyrun (hope its roughly accurate).
And another 5.25km back.
So that totals up to 10.5km.
I ran it in 1hour and 15minutes. Slow. Yes I know that.
But i've never run that far before, so this timing would be a rough gauge for myself.
I shall shave off 10minutes (and hopefully more) in the next run.
i didn't feel so shitty and worn out like during the napfa test.
i couldn't imagine it man.. i actually completed it and still had strength in me..
Looks like Jeff Galloway was right. Walk breaks do work. But i did a 1:1 ratio of walk breaks. That's not good. I shall try 2:1 the next time. That'll be next week.
Yeah I can do it. I just did it. I can do it again. Yeah.
The run was fun. I almost got shit-ted on by a flock of pigeons. Hate them.
Lakeside mrt. ooooo. YJC girls. so upped the tempo and ran faster. LOL. dunno why they're there. But girls in uniform and short skirts is more than enough to spur me on faster.
On the way back too. Sporty girls in them FBT shorts.. Oooo.. I like.. I run fast.. LOL
It really really felt so good. i just dunno how to describe it. ahahahah. it really is good.
You people should try it. Run 10.5km. it's fun.
I'll use my blog as a substitue training log.
Record down what i feel and how i did my runs.
On thursday, it shall be tempo runs.
I can do this.
